Florida statutes do not explicitly prohibit licensed gun owners to carry firearms in private properties, places of business, etc. However, the state does deems it trespass if any person enters or remains on a property without its owner’s authorization, and where notice against entering or remaining is given. (See
Fla. Stat. § 810.09)
MySecuritySign offers No Guns signs for those who wish to prohibit firearms on their premises and exercise their right to allow or deny entry.
Florida CCP Statutes
Exactly what we were looking for. Our veterans organization serves over 50% revenue in adult beverages so unfortunately no type of firearm or weapon is allowed inside our facilities. I am the Quartermaster and I have a CCP, but not even I am allowed to enter with a firearm. This sign is very explicit as to what the Florida statutes state. Hopefully, we will not have any misunderstandings with others entering our facility.
